Ascend Solutions is considered the pioneer of Command Center solutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Our Command Center was purpose-built to address market needs across various sectors, offering capabilities like our Command Center software, which orchestrates responsive and unified care for patients.
What are the key skills and attributes you believe are essential for success in your role?
Success in my role as a CCO requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and emotional intelligence. It’s essential to anticipate industry trends, understand the nuances of different markets, and craft messages that align with both the company’s goals and the needs of our audience.
How do you approach building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders?
Building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders is at the core of my approach. At Ascend Solutions, we prioritize open and transparent communication, ensuring that we understand the unique needs and challenges of each partner.
Regular engagement, coupled with a commitment to delivering on our promises, helps build trust and long-term partnerships. We are not just about promises; we get things done for our clients. We focus on delivering tangible results, swiftly addressing concerns, and providing tailored solutions that meet their specific needs. Can you share a specific example of a challenge you faced in your role and how you overcame it?
One major challenge we encountered was managing the COVID-19 response as the project manager appointed by the Ministry of Health during the nearly two-year pandemic. We oversaw numerous screening sites and vaccine centers nationwide, which required immense coordination.
To tackle this, we developed a comprehensive operational strategy prioritizing efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction through advanced digital tools. By streamlining processes and collaborating closely with stakeholders, we ensured smooth operations at all centers.
Our efforts culminated in a Press Ganey customer experience score exceeding 95%, establishing a global benchmark for service delivery and significantly aiding in virus containment and public health protection in Saudi Arabia.
How do you prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively in a fast-paced environment?
In a fast-paced environment like ours, prioritization and time management are key. I use a combination of strategic planning and daily task lists to ensure that I focus on what matters most. Delegation is also crucial; I empower my team to take ownership of their tasks, fostering a sense of responsibility and accountability.

My advice to aspiring leaders in the communications field is to never stop learning and to stay curious. The industry is constantly evolving, and staying ahead requires a commitment to continuous learning.
